The placement into Developmental Math courses are dependent on the Accuplacer© Placement Test. Based on the math section of the placement test a score is obtained for Arithmetic and a separate score for Algebra. Based on these 2 scores students are placed into the following math classes.

To determine your placement refer to the Test Scores and Placement Chart available under the Placement tab located off of the Developmental Math Program Homepage. This chart describes what classes are needed based on the placement test results.

MAT-010AL Basic Mathematics Linked Support

Basic Mathematics Linked Support is a computer assisted class designed to provide additional instructional reinforcement for students enrolled in linked sections of Basic Mathematics Course (MAT-011AL)

MAT-011AL Basic Mathematics Linked

Basic Mathematics is a study of the fundamental operations of arithmetic, intended for students whose placement examination indicates a need for a review of arithmetic skills. Topics include computation with and applications using numbers, fractions, decimals, ratios, percents, and integers. Additional instructional time is administered through a support class MAT-010AL, and must be taken together.
