Office of Specialized Services
The Office of Specialized Services (OSS) seeks to provide students the opportunity to participate fully in the colleges educational programs and benefit from all aspects of campus life through the use of reasonable and appropriate accommodations and auxiliary services. Our goal is to create an accessible community where students are challenged and diversity is celebrated.
Documentation to support a request for services/accommodations should be sent directly to OSS. Services are based on the individualized evaluation of each student’s disability documentation; all determinations are made on a case-by-case basis. Students are encouraged to submit documentation early stages of the admissions process in order to ensure a timely delivery of eligible services. Depending on individual needs the following services or accommodations may be provided:
- Academic Advisement
- Assistive Technology software and training
- Digitized course materials
- Classroom accommodations
- Testing Accommodations
- Auxiliary aids
