The Office of Health Services is currently staffed by three registered nurses and support staff. Our nurses are professionally licensed by the state of New Jersey.
They are also certified in providing Basic Life Support, including AED emergency use. Nurses are available in HS-100 for first-aid, medical emergencies,referrals, health education and consultations.
Our support staff is bilingual in Spanish/English and will assist you with insurance questions, immunization requirements,medical record requests, and Medical Parking permits.
The college physician comes to campus for athletic physicals several times each year.
Athletes MUST have a medical exam completed by their private physician.
This medical exam must be completed and ON FILE in Health Services PRIOR to seeing the college physician;please see the Student Immunizations/Medical Exam form which your private physician needs to complete.
All athletes playing competitively for BCC must be examined by the college physician before being allowed to compete in their sport. Please check with our staff and with your coach if you are an athlete with any questions regarding your medical exam requirements.
